ProJeCt Awarded $2M Grant to
Advance Future South Side Home

The grant brings ProJeCt closer to transforming 610 West Berwick Street into one welcoming program center for education, support, and opportunity.

Today, ProJeCt’s adult education classes, early childhood center, food pantry, emergency ASSIST, school-based programs, and administrative offices operate across four separate downtown Easton sites. The future home will bring services, staff, and resources together in one welcoming, accessible location.

Past Year Community Impact

  • 6,100+ instances of service
  • 337 Adult Education students
  • 1,581 people served through ASSIST
  • 1,300 households provided food
  • ·207,461 pounds of food distributed

Protecting History. Building for the Future.

The renovation will both protect and reimagine the historic building, addressing critical roof and masonry needs while preserving its historic character. Planned updates also include an elevator, secure entry points, an updated HVAC system, and functional program areas designed to support ProJeCt’s services for decades to come.
